Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Forklift Operator to work for our client, a leader in warehousing and logistics distribution solutions to work in Belleville and Trenton, Ontario. In this position you will be responsible for operating and managing forklifts/ reach trucks/ powered walkie machines to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.

Pay Rate: $19/hour
Location: Belleville/Trenton, Ontario
Shift: Monday to Friday | 730am-4pm

Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts to move materials within facility.
Load and unload trucks, stack and unstack pallets and perform other material handling tasks as required.
Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve operational goals.
Travel Between Trenton and Belleville, must have valid driver's license.
Able to work in temperature controlled/refrigerated environment.
Ability to work overtime when needed to support our customer's needs.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of forklift experience
Ability to provide two employment references that can attest to your safe equipment operation.
Experience operating a counterbalance forklift/reach truck/powered walkie in a warehouse setting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
Excellent communication and team work skills.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Basic computer skills, use of iPad, RF scanner etc.
Must have a clear criminal background, and consent to completing a background check.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
