JOB DETAILS

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Company: Randstad

Pay rate: $95K - $110K

Responsibilities
Review work orders and notifications and work with planner to meet timelines.
â¢Create and print SAP work orders and PO requests.
â¢Organize and execute PM priorities on a daily basis.
â¢Ensure that all work is completed in a manner that complies with Government regulatory guidelines.
â¢Provide troubleshooting and support for unscheduled line shutdowns.
â¢Manage and direct the work of on-site contractors when necessary.
â¢Maintain an open line of interdepartmental communication
â¢Attend morning production meetings and all other appropriate meetings.
â¢Liaison with QA over quality issues to ensure food safety.
â¢Maintain employee safety while ensuring Aspire Bakeries plant safety policies and practices are adhered to.
â¢Initiates plans to motivate workers to achieve goals.
â¢Ensure all reliable weekly startup of all production areas.
â¢Estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
â¢Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products.
â¢Member of Food Safety Committee- Ensure that compliance to the policies and procedures of the facility, regulatory and customer requirements are being met.
â¢Responsible for tracking and predicting equipment failures and implementing improvement strategies based on data before equipment failure occurs.
â¢Lead the team through the process of troubleshooting breakdowns, downtime reports, and root cause fault analysis.
â¢Maintain and provide training records.
â¢Create a positive work environment.
â¢Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
â¢A Millwright or Electrician licensed to practice in Ontario or have an Engineering degree/diploma is required
â¢5-7 years of direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required
â¢Certification as a class B refrigeration operator would be an asset is required.
â¢Experience in food manufacturing is an asset required.
â¢Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
â¢Must be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to lead others.
â¢Proven trades experience in technical problem-solving and decision-making.
â¢Must be willing to pursue additional certification/licenses.
â¢The willingness to adapt to a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
â¢Knowledge of Government regulations as they apply to OHSA.
â¢Knowledge of GMPâs and HACCP.
