Project Liaison

One of our top partners in the Electric Vehicle space is preparing to build a facility that will be a crucial part of Canadaâs Electric Vehicle (EV) supply chain in Kingston area.

Our client is looking for a Project Liaison who will be responsible for for setting up and assigning the administration flows, coordination and facilitating the work of project engineering team under the direction of Project Managers.

Responsibilities
- Work as a SAP key user to create and update shopping carts, purchase orders, and goods receipts as per Project Manager's request.
- Provide monthly and quarterly project cost forecast and manage change control through various stages.
- Update budget files and monitor project budget costs.
- Compare the budgets approved in SAP with costs entered in Planisware with information from SAP and Project Managers.
- Manage the project folders, access matrix, maintain project transmittals, archiving engineering deliverables and permitting documents on project server.
- Maintain project document system (filing, copying, scanning, and tagging documents).
- Other department administrative work (organizing meetings, travel, outing, teambuilding, etc.)

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in technical or administration or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience working in similar projects with different project teams in an engineering environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Prior experience with technical background working with project teams
- Strong communication and good command (written, verbal) over English language
- Exemplary behavior towards ethics and integrity and transparency towards organization
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
