Job Description:

In collaboration with teams within dComm, Marketing, Customer Activation & Sales, the Digital Merchandiser is responsible for leading the creation, development, and execution of Content for all MW products. These execution plans and strategies must be aligned with business stakeholders, Including pureplay, omnichannel, and ODD channels and eB2B customers. This role is highly collaborative and requires a strong customer focus, a drive for results, and a high degree of initiative in a constantly changing dComm environment.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • dComm Content and/or Search qualifications would be as asset. Good understanding of dComm, specifically Content management & Search. - Background knowledge in SEO, copywriting, and content creation.

  • Understand core business metrics and how they are influenced through online merchandising.

  • Proven project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-starter for whom initiative is a habit. Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

  • Strong collaborative skills and experience in managing internal & external relationships. Basic understanding of how Brand Marketers & Key Account Teams function.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Content Strategy & Creation:

- Develop and implement digital merchandising strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance the online shopping experience.

- Align with global guidelines and best practices for asset creation across core portfolio, Innovation launches, micro-moments, seasonal periods, and transitioning Items. Make recommendations for staying ahead of competition.

- Optimize and make recommendations around keyword development & optimization.

- Partner with Internal Marketing team to align on content briefing and lead projects with external marketing agencies to lead the development of digital assets (copywriting, SEO optimization, Image creation, video development).

- Lead A/B test n' learns across retailer websites, using Insights to build strategy and evolve eCommerce channels.

- Lead special projects like Content Playbooks, driving digital muscle with marketing, sales, and strategy teams.

Content Management:

- Point of contact for digital assets, product content, retailer guidelines, content strategy, optimization, and implementation.

- Manage and maintain product content within Salsify PXM, driving PIM Integration Improvements, as well as catalogue and channel mapping.

- Collaborate with sales teams to update Product Detail Pages (PDP's) across retailer websites to improve MW presence on the digital shelf and enhance online shopper experience.

- Manage content creation and syndication to eB2B platform, driving platform development, enhancing application UI and UX.

- Drive Perfect Digital Store improvements across retailer websites, focusing on assortment (listings and availability), navigation (taxonomy and shopper journey), content (product titles, Images, description, bullet points, advanced content, and ratings & reviews) and search (visibility across generic and branded keywords).

- Manage the relationship with agencies such as Salsify, eFundamentals, Bazaar Voice and Caddle. Manage and utilize 3rd party tools as enablers.

Analytics & Reporting

- Conduct and present analytical sales reports to identify key drivers and drainers in online business performance, propose recommendations and collaborate with Pureplay, Omnichannel, On Demand Delivery channels to action opportunities

- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential threats.

- Utilize web analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.

- Responsible for total dComm scorecard reporting every period
