Calling all skilled Shipper/Forklift Operator I have a client looking for a dedicated candidate who wants a long-term career. This role takes place in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment and requires someone with the skills to match

Shift: Monday -> Friday
Time: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Pay: $22 -> $24 per hour
Location: Milton/Halton Hills
Department: Shipping/Warehousing department

This is a long-term opportunity, with the intention to hire the candidate on permanently after completion of hours.

Responsibilities
- Receive and load shipments off of trucks
- Check paperwork and inspect the product on arrival and before departure
- Place products into racking
- Use counterbalance forklift and reach forklift
- Use overhead crane
- prepare shipping paperwork as required
- communicate with other teams to establish timelines
- manually pick parts for orders as well as use forklift to pick large parts
- Lift up-to 50lbs

Qualifications
- 3+ years of forklift operation
- 3+ years in heavy equipment manufacturing environment
- External forklift license on counterbalance and reach
- physically capable of lifting up-to 50lbs
- good communication skills
- able to work both independently and in a team
