About the role

Our growing team is looking for an AI Architect to support architecture mandates and collaborate with Data Science and AI Developers within the DataLab.

What youâll do here:

• Be part of a high-profile team with a multitude of challenges to help deliver robust AI solutions.
• Develop and evolve the AI platform architecture and integration with our corporate systems and market tools.
• Collaborate with members from various technical teams to develop solutions that address the needs of our customers.
• Deliver architecture blueprints and implementation strategies that meet our security and data protection standards.
• Ensure that architectures are aligned with our corporate vision and objectives, while being able to propose innovative approaches to problem solving.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelorâs degree in information technology/software engineering or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of significant experience in software development.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in an application or solution architecture role.
• Experience architecting solutions that leverage various cloud services (E.g. AWS S3, Lambda, MLflow, etc.).
• Experience architecting solutions that leverage various platforms (E.g. MongoDB, Airflow, Elastic, Databricks, AWS/SageMaker, Snowflake, etc.).
• Knowledge of various DevOps paradigms (E.g. DataOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, etc.).
• Experience with container-based technologies such as Docker, an asset.
• Experience with hosting / serving machine learning models, an asset.
• Familiarity with machine learning technologies such Anaconda, Spark, PyTorch, an asset.
• Bilingualism (French / English) â Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Profile sought:

• Passionate about creating highly resilient, secure, and scalable AI applications.
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams (ex: Business Analysts, Developers, Data Architects and Enterprise architects) in complex and constantly changing environments.
• Able to take a business problem and turn it into a technological solution.
• Excellent at explaining complex and technical ideas to various stakeholders.
• Well organized, with a good sense of how to manage priorities.
• A very good understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts, an asset.
• Experience leveraging an architecture framework / methodology such as TOGAF, an asset.
