Are you an experienced Vulnerability Assessment Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client needs a professional to conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze results, and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk. You will ensure timely remediation, validate resolved vulnerabilities, and manage tools like Qualys, Tanium, and ServiceNow. Collaborate with senior security team members to address vulnerabilities, coordinate remedial activities with IT teams, and provide actionable metrics. You'll document findings, support patch implementation, investigate security incidents, and contribute to security awareness initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or IT (cybersecurity), at least three years of experience in vulnerability management, and expertise with relevant tools. Responsibilities
â¢Conduct regular vulnerability scans using automated tools
â¢Analyze scan results to identify potential security weaknesses
â¢Assist in the evaluation and prioritization of vulnerabilities based on risk
â¢Ensure remediations are completed on time and validate vulnerabilities that are remediated
â¢Maintain and grow the vulnerability management technology and tooling (Qualys, Tanium and ServiceNow)
â¢Work closely with senior security team members to address vulnerabilities
â¢Analyze security findings with the goal of risk identification
â¢Assist in the prioritization of vulnerabilities
â¢Assist with the coordination and prioritization of remedial activities working directly with IT operational support teams
â¢Analyzes complex asset and vulnerability data sets to provide meaningful, actionable metrics and data visualizations
â¢Document vulnerability analysis and/or assessment findings and rating new vulnerabilities into a central tracker (Service now VR Module)
â¢Support the implementation of patches and updates to address identified vulnerabilities
â¢Track the status of patches and ensure timely application
â¢Assist in the investigation of security incidents and breaches
â¢Participate in root cause analysis to identify underlying vulnerabilities
â¢Contribute to security awareness initiatives within the organization
â¢Maintain accurate documentation of vulnerability assessments and remediation activities
â¢Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and industry standards
â¢Participate in risk reduction initiatives through the collaboration of multiple groups in a highly matrixed enterprise environment
â¢Ongoing activities and deliverable, as required

Qualifications
â¢University degree or college diploma in computer science or, Information technology (Cyber Security)
â¢A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience with Vulnerability Management
â¢A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience with vulnerability management technology and tooling (Qualys, Tanium and ServiceNow)
â¢Demonstrated ability to organize effectively
