QUALIFICATIONS:

Fully licensed industrial mechanic and/or a diploma in a relevant technical field. Consideration may be given to a career-focused individual possessing a high school diploma/GED, proven technical aptitude and committed to pursuing a journeyperson certification. Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks Ability to accept and embrace change in a fast-paced environment Strong working knowledge of PC's and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to successfully work individually or collaboratively with others Must work with a sense of urgency Previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset Successful completion of a 90 day training period

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for mechanical breakdown and proactive repairs of all equipment in the Florenceville Fry Facility Observe equipment and component conditions while doing jobs, and provide feedback as appropriate Provide all information requested on feedback forms as part of completing jobs Participate in McCain's Equipment Ownership Program Effectively use SAP system for work orders Work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with production and maintenance colleagues Maintain an excellent attendance record Perform all other duties as they arise
