-Start: ASAP
-Estimated length: 12 months
-Location: Toronto
-Hybrid role- 2 days a week in office.
Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities
â Managing trades in book of records trading system
â Trade affirmations
â Making sure trading risk is accurate on trade day, ensuring downstream process are not
impacted.
â Validate Equity Derivative products in a timely manner, to warrant an accurate reflection of
trade blotters or confirms to source systems; while in accordance with industry regulations and
standard market conventions.
â Execute trade amendments and maintain trade flows for various portfolios, by analyzing and
processing an assortment of trade transactions.
â Manage daily portfolio / reconciliations and diverse reports to ensure trade data within
companysâs internal book of records is mirroring trading systems accurately; thereby giving
effective risk exposure and PnL reporting.
â Liaise closely with Front Office and various groups such as: CMRM, Treasury Credit, Technology,
Settlements, Confirmations, and other stakeholders to meet business goals and demands.
â Engage in ad hoc projects for Senior Management and Projects Team. Assignments include:
testing for system upgrades, facilitation of mass book / trades unwind or novation, and analysis
reporting.
â Responsible for updating Standard Operating Procedures to meet current organizational
objectives. Pro-actively proposed and implemented new initiatives to improve processing
efficiencies and to provide more effective business support.

Qualifications
â Capital markets experience â 5 years
â Knowledge and understanding of business processes, products and transactions across Global
Markets.
â Experience with Capital Market risk systems.
â Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to solve issues creatively and able to
communicate the solutions clearly and concisely.
â Client management expertise and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
â Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet the multiple strict deadlines and handle
high volumes of work daily.
â Experience in multi-step processing through non-standard processing environments or in a
combination of manual and automated environments is desirable.
â Excellent written and oral communication skills required when dealing with internal groups and
external counterparties in problem resolution.
â Proficient with MS Office Suite; Highly skilled in use of Excel.
â Flexibility to adapt to changing ad-hoc data requirements within short timeframes
â Ability to work under pressure
â Ability to work well with different stakeholders in trades/sales
â Team Player
