In your role, you will foster the career development of your team members and improve the processes under your responsibility, in addition to participating in the success of major initiatives led by the U.S. dealer services industry and the CFO corporate teams. Your contribution will be valued within an organization that has human values and that evolves in a high-performance climate.
This position reports to the Vice President, CFO, U.S. Business Segments.
Responsibilities
1- Supporting the U.S. Dealer Services Industry: o Be a privileged point of contact with the partner to collaborate in the achievement of its business objectives.
• Support the partner in understanding financial results and identifying levers for improvement.
• Have an in-depth understanding of the business model, including key priorities and decision-makers' motivations.
• Advise and collaborate on acquisition projects and other growth and improvement initiatives in the sector.
• Perform or establish the parameters to be used for product pricing and business opportunities for the U.S. Dealer Services segment and monitor benefits and costs according to the standards and procedures established by the CFO Sector team.
• Contribute to presentations to the U.S. Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
2- Support the activities conducted by the CFO corporate teams: o Ensure collaboration between the various value chains of the CFO sector (production of financial information, product profitability, financial health examination) and its sector team.
• Be responsible for the production and analysis of financial information required for financial statements, financial projections for the Financial Health Test, budget, ORSA, investor presentations, capital standard.
• Provide support to the external auditor or peer review work.
3- Develop a high-performing team: o Promote alignment and consistency of the team's practices with the best practices established by the CFO sector team and develop expertise.
• Supporting resource development.
• In collaboration with sector managers, ensure the maintenance and development of actuarial and accounting expertise in the team.
• Identify the need for tools, systems, human resources, and expertise to support the overall activities of the U.S. dealer services and CFO sectors.
Profile
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, actuarial science, accounting, or another relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years of management experience
• Experience in managing a team of experts in a multidisciplinary and matrix context is an asset.
• Recognition as a strategic business partner with proven leadership
• Experience in dealer services and knowledge of the U.S. market an asset.
• Strong skills in developing and maintaining effective business relationships with different organizational levels in a collaborative spirit.
• Proactivity in identifying present and future needs
• Ability to quickly grasp strategic issues.
• Strong interpersonal and influence skills
- Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to regular interaction with English and French speaking colleagues or internal and external partners across Canada and the United States
