Working with an extensive client base, Aerotek is searching for a Warehouse Worker/ Forklift Operator for a large company in Grande Prairie, AB

Qualifications:

Experience working in an industrial products or oil and gas industry warehouse (1+ years minimum)

Able to lift 50lbs

Basic computer knowledge (can use email and a WMS)

TDG/WHMIS training and familiarity with OH&S and MSDS

Drivers license w clean driver's abstract

Minimum 1-2 year’s forklift experience (gas and/or electric powered)

Drug Testing

Description:

Will start the day off with a toolbox meeting to discuss what is needed to be completed and to go over any specific safety hazards. Will use a sit-down counterbalance forklift once trained but will predominately be order picking by hand or palletizing orders. They will also assist the receiving team 3 times per week when product is received into the warehouse. Need to lift up to 50lbs. Will use SAP computer system for data entry. Need to communicate with other team members and internal clients .

Shift: Monday – Friday: 7:30am-4pm (some OT and the odd Sat as needed) 2 X 15 min breaks and 30 min lunch (lunch is unpaid)

Pay Rate: $32.96/hr

This is Full-Time Work Only/ LONG TERM Temp to hire contract with a huge North American transportation and logistics leader, partnering with a diverse group of customers in the US and Canada. Once on perm can move into other roles such as level 3 Technician, warehouse lead, etc. which comes with more compensation.
