Responsibilities
What will you do?
- Managing a Point of Sale implementation project, ensuring high-quality project releases within the given timelines
- Driving PI planning sessions with 3 other project teams, ensuring goals, dependencies and commitment dates are established and upheld
- Clarifying and developing a laser-like focus of the business needs, control project scope, and track and report project status to the Senior Product manager and/or Project Steering Committees
- Owning and resolving roadblocks for the development teams during design, build and test
- Building comprehensive project plans for multiple initiatives within the project
- Managing internal and external stakeholders and vendors involved in the project, ensuring that deliverable dates are upheld and work is validated
- Forecasting each teams capacity and upcoming work, working with each team to derive accurate estimates that improve over time
- Managing JIRA tickets, sprint board, team velocity, RAID items
- Translating business requirements into detailed work action plans. Identifying and sequencing the activities needed to successfully complete projects
- Executing projects according to approved project plans using Agile principles and values and scrum methodology
- Running project team scrums and daily standups, including virtual scrums and standups with remote team members as required
- Ensure proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing an effective mitigation strategy
- Preparing and coordinating system changes for release, organize product demo sessions to gather feedback from the stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with proven experience driving and delivering complex projects $5M+ budget
- Demonstrated success working in an agile methodology and waterfall / hybrid models
- Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships within your team, and cross functionally.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, frameworks and requirements
- Strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines
- Experienced with retail technologies and omnichannel guest interactions
- Possess a high level of analytical and critical thinking
- Strong facilitation, diplomacy, and leadership skills
- Experience coaching and mentoring in an agile development environment
- Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- Remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- Seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
