  • Plan, direct and coordinate all on-site mechanical & electrical activities to comply with specifications, requirements and codes
  • Coordinate all relevant drawings and information to eliminate interference problems
  • Provide direction during functional performance testing of all mechanical and electrical systems
  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in updating and achieving schedule requirements, mechanical and electrical RFI's and shop drawings and administrate mechanical/electrical project completion requirements
Is this the right role for you?
  • You have a construction related degree/diploma and 3-5 years of mechanical and electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • You have a construction related degree/diploma and two years of mechanical and electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • You have a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering systems, principles and practices
  • You have the ability to proactively identify and document any problems/conflicts and effectively manage and resolve them

À titre de coordinateur ou de coordinatrice en ME, vous devez :
  • Faire la coordination des portées mécaniques, électriques et technologies de l'information pour s'assurer qu'elles sont conformes aux spécifications, aux dessins et aux codes.
  • Planifier, diriger et coordonner les activités sur le chantier afin de se conformer aux spécifications, aux exigences et aux codes.
  • Coordonner tous les dessins et renseignements pertinents pour éliminer les problèmes d'interférence.
  • Fournir des directives lors des essais fonctionnels de tous les systèmes de bâtiment
  • Aider les gestionnaires de projet, les surintendants et les surintendantes à mettre à jour et à respecter les exigences de l'échéancier, les demandes de renseignements en mécanique et électrique, les revues des dessins d'atelier et coordonner les exigences d'achèvement des projets en mécanique et électrique.
  • Aider et créer des échéanciers mécaniques et électriques pour les corps de métier en précisant les soumissions, les dates de livraison, d'installation et d'inspection; coordonner avec l'échéancier principal du projet, suivre la progression de l'installation sur le terrain et déterminer de façon préventive les tâches qui peuvent dépasser les dates d'achèvement indiquées sur l'échéancier.
  • Participer à l'élaboration de l'échéancier de mise en service.
  • Maintenir une communication constante avec les sous-traitants en ME, et effectuer un suivi mensuel pour s'assurer que les livraisons et les échéances sont respectées.
  • Participer à l'élaboration de la portée des travaux et des ensembles d'offres en ME en passant en revue les spécifications, les dessins, les estimations et budgets, et les contrats connexes des sous-traitants.
Ce poste vous convient-il?
  • Vous avez un diplôme en construction et de préférence deux années d'expérience en mécanique et électrique dans la construction ou une combinaison équivalente de formation technique et d'expérience.
  • Vous avez une connaissance pratique des systèmes, des principes et des pratiques d'ingénierie en mécanique et électrique.
  • Vous avez la capacité d'identifier et de documenter de façon préventive les problèmes et les conflits, de les gérer et de les résoudre efficacement.
