Title: Manufacturing and Assembly Technician

Reports to: Vice President of Engineering

Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations personnel to procure, manage and track internal inventory.
  • Assemble various research grade products, such as data loggers, cables, and electromechanical enclosures – including various processes such as soldering and gluing.
  • Create written assembly instructions in partnership with design engineering.
  • Create test records for manufactured product.
  • Package and ship manufactured product.
  • Develop tooling and fixtures with engineering.
  • Conduct process testing as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Must be able work alone or with others.
  • Must be able to follow and create written documentation.
  • Experience with soldering, electronics assembly, and testing is required.
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • This is a full-time on-site position for our Liberty Village Office.

Qualifications

  • College or University degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in assembly lines with electromechanical products.
