About the Role:

The Cyber Services Engineer is responsible for supporting any Projects or Managed Services in the Protection, Detection, Response & Recovery domains as directed and assigned by the Sr. Director, SOC. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the client's systems and infrastructure to prevent unauthorized access and avoid data breaches.

The Security Engineer will oversee all functions required to support day-to-day security operations for MSSP Offerings as well as open Projects, supporting, and maintaining a broad suite of information security infrastructure under all domains. Key responsibilities include deploying, managing, and enhancing Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Network Security, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Vulnerability Management, Security Awareness, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) solutions.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, manage, and monitor Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solutions to control user access and permissions across our internal and external network and systems.
  • Design, implement, manage, and monitor Network Security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
  • Perform regular security assessments and audits on the IDAM and Network Security environments to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation measures.
  • Deploy, Configure, and manage network devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security devices for the relevant IDAM and Network Security environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Conduct periodic security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in IDAM and Network Security, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous growth and learning to adapt to the ever-evolving requirements of the Cybersecurity industry.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure continuity of operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive for continuous growth & learning to meet the requirements of constant changes in the cyber security industry.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on IDAM and network security.
  • Experience in administration of Private/Public/Hybrid Cloud infrastructure implementations.
  • Strong understanding of identity management principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth, Active Directory).
  • In-depth knowledge of network security concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, etc.
