Allied Universal is seeking Professional Mobile Security Guard to join our dynamic team in Edmundston NB, Canada.
- Experience: No Prior Experience required
- Pay-rate: $20.19/hour
- Willingness to obtain or renew the Security Guard Licence at your expense
- Bilingual language is required (French &English)
- G Driver's License (Required)
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Job type: Full time
- Shift time: 0600am-1800pm (Rotational)
- Must be Able to start immediately
Overview:Allied Universal® is seeking a highly responsible and reliable Mobile Security Guard to ensure the security and safety of our client's property and personnel. The officer will be responsible for patrolling, monitoring site-specific policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies while delivering superior customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, or at least 5 years of verifiable employment history.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills for operating technology at client-specific sites.
- Must have a Valid Security Guard license issued by the appropriate regulatory authority
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Must be 25+ years of age due to company insurance requirements on vehicles
- Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mobile/regular patrols of designated areas, including commercial properties, residential communities, and industrial sites.
- Perform regular security checks to detect and deter unauthorized access, vandalism, or other security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarm activations, emergencies, or requests for assistance.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises and report any safety hazards or security concerns.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and ensure peace of mind for clients and residents.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems remotely from a mobile vehicle or central control center
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to coordinate security operations.
