We are looking for a Full Time Regulated Pharmacy Technician to promote our beliefs within our collaborative and dynamic pharmacy workforce

Starting at $30 per hour

You will be joining a great small town pharmacy Just 15 minutes from major center of Vernon, 45 minutes from Kelowna. Wine and lake country, _amazing_ summers, and _mild_ winters in the B.C. Okanagan. Great location for outdoor activities on ski hills in the winter, boating, outdoor rec activities in the summer.

Great pharmacy support team of assistants, always 2 pharmacists on shift Monday to Friday.
Wage is negotiable.

Required Skill / Knowledge / Experience:
Ability to determine customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Critical thinking
Operate a variety of office equipment, including phone systems, printers, faxes, & computers
Pharmacy experience is an asset

Key responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician include:
Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
Data entry of patient care information
Third Party adjudication where required and necessary
Accurate dispensing prescription medications
Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
Handling customer prescription pick up,
Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy

Qualifications:
Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college, where applicable in the province seeking employment, in good standing
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated customer service experience
Strong motivation to succeed
Proficient computer/data/entry skills
