This position will report directly to the Operations Manager - Metals, with our Flynn Manufacturing Division.

A Day in the Life:-Preparing takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs. -Preparing and following-up on quotations and tenders. -Assisting Production or Service with preparing prices for extras or credits. -Consult and communicate with project managers, drafters, engineers, and clients involved. -Perform area calculations. -Consult with clients to discuss and formulate estimates. -Review data to determine material and labour requirements; prepare itemized lists of requirements.
What We Are Seeking:-1 year of estimating experience in the construction industry-Completion of a Post-Secondary degree/diploma related to civil engineering or construction.--Proficiency with MS office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).-Proficiency with Bluebeam.-Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities. -Strong negotiation and communication skills -Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
