Costing analyst

Our client is a 10-year-old start-up with a fast-growing segment and is looking for a costing analyst to support the analysis with multiple plants in the US and Canada. Working with a few ERP systems you will help build a standardized model to derive cost and pricing. Open to someone who is willing to make an excursion in management accounting or has always been in this field. Are you looking for a place to make a difference and leave your mark? Base salary (95K-105K+)

Responsibilities
Analyze production costs, including materials, labor, and overheads, to determine accurate cost structures.
Develop and maintain cost models and forecasts to support pricing and budgeting decisions.
Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analysis to track performance against budget and forecasts.
Collaborate with other departments to gather cost-related data and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
Identify and recommend opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
Support financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications
Bachelors in accounting with 3-5 yrs exp.
CPA ( an asset)
Bilingual with a strong English
Strong in Excel.
Experience with a Tier one ERP ( an asset )
