The position starts immediately. Kerr is a leader in the Heating / Ventilation / Air Condition / Refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry across Atlantic Canada for over 50 years.

Job Title: Warehouse - Shipping/Receiving
Reports To: DC Supervisor
Position Type: Full Time
Start Date: Immediate

Key Roles as Shipper/Receiver:

  • Timely and accurate pick/ship of inbound and outgoing orders.
  • Operation of forklift and order picker and other equipment as needed.
  • Use of RF/barcode hardware for all transactions.
  • Inventory cycle counts, product movement and building re-organization/ housekeeping.
  • Work hours: Mon - Fri, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Shift hours are subject to change, and some overtime could be required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education.
  • Successful candidate will be a strong team player, eager to learn, and up for a fast paced, energetic work environment. Candidate must have respect for others and follow safe work practices.
  • Training to be provided for all equipment operation. No previous warehousing experience is necessary, however lift truck and mobile computing experience is an asset.
  • Ability to perform moderate heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs), be physically active throughout each shift. Role requires work at height on Order Picker with fall arrest harness. Training and certification will be provided.
