Immediate opening for a Maintenance Supervisor in the Mississauga area

Our client, a leading manufacturer producing subfloors and moisture barriers, is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to begin immediately.

This established company has been in the industry since the mid 90's, and has built a solid reputation with their high quality, precision engineered products.

Straight day shift

Responsibilities
Identifying current and future maintenance needs for all production lines, and the warehouse
Ensuring production operations by determining work priorities / scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment
Supporting product development lifecycle and improvement by reviewing new product plans, discussing equipment needs, and modifications
Ensuring adequate tool and spare part supply using cost effective justification as required to support production lines
Coordinating facility project work costs (Costs, bidding, managing, and scheduling)
Maintaining full compliance with WSIB and MOL
Participating in and monitoring monthly safety inspections, with timely execution on any safety concerns
Ensuring exterior of facility is clean and uncluttered
Designing, implementing, and modifying preventative maintenance programs by reviewing: Production, quality control, maintenance reports / statistics, inspecting operating machines, equipment, and systems for conformance with operational standards

Qualifications
5+ years experience as a Dual Ticketed Industrial Millwright (433A) and Industrial Electrician (442A) in a fast paced environment
5+ years maintenance supervisory experience
Strong mechanical aptitude, with a proven background of experience in machine assembly, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting
A results driven mindset - Able to meet their individual performance goals, prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines (LEAN knowledge / Experience is an asset)
Fully comfortable reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
Excellent communication, both orally and written.
Previous experience with PM (Preventative Maintenance) programs is a must - both developing
Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated practical problem solving skills

Bonus points if you have:
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs
Injection Molding experience
