Join Our Team as a Youth Summer Sport Coordinator

Are you passionate about sports and making a positive impact on the youth in your community? Lewisville Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated individual to lead our summer sports program for youth. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive sports program, organize and lead sports activities, and collaborate with community organizations to provide additional resources and support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sports program for youth in the community.
  • Organize and lead sports activities and games, such as basketball and soccer.
  • Supervise and encourage volunteers to assist with the program.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings, mentor meetings, and participate in team tasks.

A candidate (student) must:

  • Be a resident of New Brunswick (must have lived in New Brunswick for at least 6 months) or a First Nation community in New Brunswick;
  • Be eligible to work in Canada (must have a valid SIN number);
  • NOT be an immediate family member (spouse, children, parent, brother or sister) of the employer;
  • Be a high school student entering grade 10, 11, or 12 in September 2024; OR
  • Be a full-time Grade 12, university or college student in the current academic year of 2023-2024 AND attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall of 2024.
