About the Role:
Innovative Fitness is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sales Manager & Personal Trainer for our Downtown Vancouver location. This multifaceted role requires a Canadian personal training certification and a strong sales background, particularly within the service industry. The successful candidate will enjoy a comprehensive compensation package including salary, uncapped commissions, and hourly coaching wages.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed targets.
- Lead and inspire a coaching team to deliver exceptional results.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Deploy effective sales strategies and initiatives to maximize revenue.
- Provide ongoing training and support to enhance the skills and productivity of the sales team.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and corporate leadership team to create compelling sales materials and promotions.
Personal Training:
- Create customized fitness programs tailored to clients' goals and abilities.
- Conduct personalized training sessions, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Educate clients on exercise techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle habits.
- Track client progress, adjust programs as needed, and provide motivation and support.
- Assist clients in overcoming challenges and staying committed to their fitness journey.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in personal training and fitness coaching.
Qualifications:
- Canadian personal training certification (e.g., CanFitPro, CSEP, ACE Canada).
- Demonstrated success in sales, preferably within the service industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
- Knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition.
- CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
Compensation Package:
- Base salary
- Commission structure tied to sales performance.
- Hourly wage for personal training sessions conducted.
- OTE of $80k+ annually (uncapped commissions, bonus program, and ).
