Fundy Honda is seeking an Automotive Digital Detailer to join our team

As an Automotive Digital Detailer at Fundy Honda, you will meticulously clean and restore the interior and exterior of vehicles to a pristine condition. This includes thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of the car's surfaces, as well as attention to detail in restoring upholstery, carpets, and other interior components. This role also plays a crucial part in supporting the Used Car Manager by taking high-quality photos of our used vehicles, writing captivating descriptions, and effectively marketing our inventory across various online and offline platforms.

Hourly Wage Range: $16.65 - $18.80

Please note that this role is not eligible for participation in the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) due to the specific National Occupational Classifications (NOC) requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Report any imperfections of new vehicles to management
  • Proper application of products on interior and exterior of sold vehicles
  • Buffing of vehicles when required
  • Preparation of new and used vehicles to ensure optimal presentation
  • Parking of vehicles appropriately on the lot and in delivery areas
  • Maintain workspace to ensure it is safe and clean
  • Capture high-resolution, visually appealing photos of used vehicles using digital cameras or smartphones.
  • Ensure all photos accurately represent the condition and features of each vehicle.
  • Write compelling and informative descriptions for each vehicle, highlighting key features, specifications, and selling points.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory database, ensuring all vehicle information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Upload photos and vehicle descriptions to our website and other online platforms in a timely manner.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract and be able to drive a manual shift
  • Previous experience in automotive detailing, photography, or marketing preferred.
  • Proficiency in using digital cameras or smartphones to capture high-quality photos.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive vehicle descriptions.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately represent vehicle features and conditions through photography and written content.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities as needed.
  • Be hardworking, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills

Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven.
