Fullstack Developer

We are currently seeking a seasoned Software Programmer with a minimum of five years in the field working with .Net, C#, Javascript and some Oracle experience. This position works remotely but needs to be based on Vancouver Island.

Responsibilities
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development
practices;
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices;
- Develop database code to support web applications and web sites;
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases;
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs; and
- Create and maintain software documentation.

Qualifications
The resource(s) must have experience in the following areas:
a. General Development:
⢠Designing/building websites with ASP.NET / C# and JavaScript;
⢠Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server;
⢠Agile methodology and tools (like Atlassian Confluence, Jira);
⢠Oracle 9i/10g/11g/12c databases, including PL/SQL programming;
⢠Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction;
and
⢠Individual contributor and team player with excellent verbal/written
communication skills.

b. Web Technologies
⢠Developing JavaScript / JavaScript Framework like Angular, Vue, Reactâ¦/
JSON/HTML5 / CSS3 websites;
⢠Knowledge responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility; and
⢠Knowledge of mobile web development.
