Estate Administrator

Rita Anderson & Associates Inc. (RA), LIT has an opening for an

Estate Administrator.

This is a full-time career position to be located in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

We are a boutique insolvency firm dedicated to helping consumers recover from financial difficulty.

Our Estate Administrator position is an empowering career opportunity where you will be assisting in the management of our estates including trust accounts, tax preparation, statement of receipts and disbursements, and other financial documents as required.

Must Have's:

- Excellent customer service with minimum 1 years' experience.

- Attention to details and gathering of information.

- Proven ability to meet deadlines and legal requirements with minimum supervision.

- Adaptability to computer programs. Preferably experience with Ascend, Profile, Google Docs, Microsoft Office Products, PDF-Kofax, etc.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven team player within a professional office.

- Keenness to help others and be empathic to the challenges of our debtors.

- Proficiency in the English language for effective local communication, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred but not a Must Have:

- Bachelor of Business Administration or an Accounting Diploma with atleast 2 years' experience.

- CAIRP Insolvency Administrator's Course.

- Experience in the fields of insolvency, financial and/or legal.
