Chief, Division of Neonatology at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and Division Head, Newborn Care at The Ottawa Hospital CHEO and The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) are jointly recruiting a full-time Neonatologist for the dual roles of Division Chief, Neonatology at CHEO and Division Head, Newborn Care at TOH. Together, we provide health care to women, pregnant persons, and newborns, including high-risk pregnancies and extremely preterm newborns while delivering outstanding patient care, leading research, and quality pediatric medical education. The CHEO Department of Pediatrics and the TOH Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care are both closely associated with their respective Research organizations and division members have academic appointments with the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in either the Department of Pediatrics or Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. There is a vibrant RCPSC-approved, two-year Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine subspecialty residency training program, a 1 year targeted Neonatal Hemodynamics and targeted Echocardiography areas of focus competency as well as a 1-year training program in Neonatal Transport Medicine and a 1 year Neonatal Follow up & Development.
