Job descriptionCompany BackgroundBritannia Brewing is a local brewery, taphouse + eatery with a focus on craft beer and modern west coast cuisine. We are a 90 seat location in the heart of Ladner Village and are currently looking for a talented and detail oriented Bartender.Job SummaryAs a bartender of Britannia Brewing Ladner, you will be familiar with all bar operations. The Bartender will play an active role in the FOH and will assist the bar team in both preparation for and executing services. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for food and mixologyKey Responsibilities:· Assist the bar manager in the day-to-day operations of bar team· Developing of seasonal and new cocktails· Maintaining a high level of drink quality in accordance with company standards and ensuring guest satisfaction· Carrying out accurate end-of-night procedures and duties· Communicating regularly and effectively with the Restaurant Director and Head Chef· Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff, in compliance to all local and provincial health guidelines· Promoting teamwork through effective feedback and communicationWorking Conditions· Hours and shifts may vary according to business levels. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and Holidays is required.· Work is performed in a fast-past restaurant/bar environmentRequirements· 1+ years of bartending experience in a professional full-service restaurant/bar environment· Serving It Right· Exceptional customer-service skills· Strong knowledge of food, craft beer, cocktails · Experience in supporting a team· Strong communication skillsWhat you can Expect:· Competitive wage and tips· An opportunity to gain experience with a growing company· A fun, fast-paced working environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: From $18.00 per hour plus tips Benefits: Casual dress Discounted or free food On-site parking Store discount
