ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists with the setting up assigned sections (floor map and open table) as per
departmental / meal period standards. Maximize seating as directed by Restaurant
Leadership
2. Attend roll call meetings (pre shift) before start of service to learn of specials (food
& beverage) function particulars, including guests and hotel expectations.
3. Assist with on-boarding of new associates as required.
4. Assist as required serve the food and/or beverage in order. Expedite food in
accordance with direction from the culinary team.
5. Compliance with food allergy / dietary restrictions notification/s from guests /
reservations and ensure team members both FOH and BOH are alerted (advised).
6. Working in an environment in-door / outdoors. (seating guests)
7. Assisting coworkers, whether it be their assigned section, food running, seating,
telephone reservations, cleaning duties (back of house side duties, cleaning of the
restaurant floor.). In-room dining deliveries.
8. Assigned to be scheduled to work events / restaurant shifts.
9. Abide by all Provincial, Federal, and corporate requirements pertaining to Food
Safe, serving alcoholic beverages including WCB regulations.
10. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis as
required.
11. Attending departmental training sessions, departmental meetings as assigned.

12. Standing alert and ready, greeting, and serving guests in a friendly and courteous
manner. Always maintaining a professional appearance.
13. Alert leadership of any service, food, or beverage deficiencies.
14. Perform any other duties as required in both restaurant and event space.Qualifications
Minimum 3 -4 years of Host experience Minimum 3 years of foodservice experience
