Role overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6+ years of proven experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Angular 13+, .Net Core , and C#. Additionally, experience in the Consumer Lending domain is required.

What you’ll do

· Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Angular 13-16, .Net Core, MVC, Web APIs and .Net.

· Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define design and ship new features.

· Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.

· Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

· Help maintain code quality organization and automation.

· Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application of standard methodologies.

· Develop and implement unit tests to ensure the software meets and/or exceeds expectations.

· Document development processes code changes and other technical information.

What you bring to the role

· 6+ years of proven experience in software development with a focus on Angular, .Net Core, and .Net programming.

· Demonstrate proven domain experience in Consumer Lending.

· Show proficiency in writing clean scalable and maintainable code.

· Demonstrate experience with version control systems like Git.

· Show the ability to work in an Agile development environment.

· Have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

· Exhibit experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring in office days as needed at the Cognizant office in Halifax.
