Laotian Transcriptionist

Upwork has partnered with a global expert and an emerging leader in AI training data to power intelligent technology for global organizations in more than 145 countries and over 1000 language locales.

They are currently looking for a Laotian Transcriptionist who can work onsite in Mississauga, ON, Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently from Laotian sources.
• Ensure high-quality transcriptions that adhere to company standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the transcription team to optimize transcription processes and workflows.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive audio data and transcriptions.
• Meet project deadlines and productivity targets while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Laotian languages, with excellent listening and comprehension skills.
• Experience with transcription software and tools, preferably in AI transcription.
• Ability to work onsite in the Mississauga, Canada area.
• Previous experience in transcription, linguistics, or related fields.
  Familiarity with Laotian or Australian English accents and dialects.
  Certification or training in transcription or related fields is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
