The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. Job Description
  • Perform live in-studio and on location weather reporting;
  • Prepare and deliver concise, accurate, forecast-focused weather information using WSI weather system;
  • Create daily weather content for digital platforms (website, social medias);
  • Originate, research, write, interview, shoot, edit and produce original community stories and elements for broadcast and digital platforms;
  • Voice station and network promos, commercials as needed;
  • Represent CTV at community and charity events;
  • Other duties as required.
Critical Qualifications
  • A degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary broadcast program, or related experience;
  • Minimum 5-year experience at major market media outlet;
  • Previous experience in "live" broadcasting;
  • Must be well versed in a variety of computer programs as well as having a familiarity with the Internet and social medias;
  • Knowledge of AVID and Premier editing systems, an asset;
  • Proven writing and presentation skills;
  • Demonstrated organization skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and make quick decision;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven, team environment;
  • Bilingual (English and French), an asset
