Job Title: Technical Analyst/Deskside Support Technician
Job Type: 3 to 8-week contract (backfill for medical leave)
Location: 2440 76 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6P 1J5
Hours/Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Rates: $30/hr Inc.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide efficient endpoint technology solutions, leveraging Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace One (MDM) and other cloud platforms to address technical issues promptly.
  • Manage installation and maintenance of hardware and software components with a focus on on-premises and Azure AD infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide appropriate endpoint solutions that align with Sterling Crane's objectives.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint management tools and systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and security of endpoint systems including Windows, iOS, Android, identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
  • Manage and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Assist in the setup and support of hand-held devices used within the organization.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role providing onsite Deskside services.
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
