Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measuring, cutting, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring and installing walls and roofing systems. Repairing and renovating wooden structures. Preparing cost. Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Safety conscious and willing to follow all safety policies and procedures. Strong working knowledge of framing and foundation components. Complete other duties as directed by Construction Supervisor.
