We are recruiting for an IT Technician position in Drummondville. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible for providing first-level IT support to the IT team. You will perform the following tasks:
Provide first-level IT support to users.
Assist users in the use of software and hardware.
Analyze user requests and propose solutions within prescribed deadlines.
Identify major pro8blems and refer users to level 2 support.
Create, deactivate or modify user accounts.
Install computer equipment, software and security systems.
Train employees in the use of IT equipment and services.
Perform minor repairs on IT equipment.
Sort and manage end-of-life IT equipment.

Advantages
Most of the time the schedule will be 8-5h. Flexibility on schedule due to offshore offices.
Offices in Florida, Europe and Australia.

Working conditions :
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
12-month contract with possibility of permanent position.
Temporary position with possibility of permanency.
On-site parking.
40-hour work week.
Working conditions : on site. 5 days on site.
Working with people with reduced vision, near-blind or totally blind.
Production environment.

Responsibilities
(Provide first-level IT support, assist users, process requests, refer to second-level support, manage accounts, install and repair equipment, train employees and manage end-of-life equipment).

Qualifications
DEC, AEC or DEP in computer science.
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position.
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (an asset).
Good knowledge of networking and Office 365.
Bilingual French and English
Intermediate English (spoken and written).
Good communication skills.
Customer-oriented and team player.
Good physical capacity (loads up to 23 kg).
Knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 required.
