Our client in the Montréal region is seeking a Lead Analyst, Tax Governance to ensure compliance with Canadian and US tax regulations in payroll processing. In this role, you will handle complex payroll tax analysis, validate payroll systems, and implement tax best practices.

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory rules.
Support payroll teams and business partners.
Conduct internal and external audits.
Implement and document tax best practices.
Participate in merger and system implementation projects.

Qualifications
Key skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in coordinating complex payroll activities.
In-depth knowledge of Canadian and US tax legislation.
Experience with SAP and ADP systems (asset).

Qualifications:

Degree in business, accounting or related field.
Certified payroll administrator designation (INP or APA) is an asset.
6 to 10 years' experience in payroll, including 4 to 6 years as a payroll technician.
Advanced Excel skills and bilingualism required.
