Our client, located in downtown Montreal, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. This is a dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growth. Vacation: 4 weeks

Responsibilities
- Enter supplier invoices into the accounting system and make payments by bank transfer or cheque.
- Communicate, as needed, with various suppliers
- Ensure proper filing of supporting documents for all accounting transactions
- Carry out re-invoicing for various accounting entities (multi-companies)
- Prepare customer invoices
- Perform cash receipts / bank deposits
- Update customer/supplier files in the accounting system
- Prepare government rebate forms and payments
- Prepare files for annual audit
- Produce various reports as required
- Perform administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Hold a vocational diploma (DEP), an attestation of college studies (AEC) or a diploma in accounting techniques
or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in data entry (accounts payable/receivable)
