The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Supervisor, Document Control to manage the document control function for cross functional teams for our North American Project Group -including both internal teams and external stakeholders.

This individual will:
Offer day-to-day direction and technical mentorship for the Document Control team
Manage employee development plans, oversight of training requirements, annual reviews including compensation, and resource forecasting of all current and upcoming projects.
Provide confidential document retrieval services for Senior Management, Contracts and Legal teams.
Provide technical document control, training and direction to project team members and construction contractors and ensure compliance to internal Vale standards.
Be responsible for the development and oversight to document control standards, processes and work instructions.

About You

Education:
Records management training (certificate preferred)

Experience:
A minimum of 11-15 years of professional experience

Skills:
Knowledge in an electronic document management system (Hummingbird/ Edocs)
Highly experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
Adobe Pro or PDF Exchange
Strong organizational skills
