Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to cut and shape various materials according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience.

Work setting:
Metal product fabrication industry.
Sheet metal shop.

Tasks:
Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair.
Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
Operate forklift.
Equipment and machinery experience:
Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
Metal forming or shaping operations experience:
Cutting machine.

Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Attention to detail.
Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Fast-paced environment.
Handling heavy loads.
Work under pressure.
Personal suitability:
Organized.
Team player.
