Maintenance Technician

Our client in the plastic extruding industry is looking for a maintenance technician to join their team.

Responsibilities
-Be the sole maintenance technician on shift responding to breakdowns and questions
-Provide mechanical support to all departments within the facility
-Install, align, dismantle, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair industrial/building machinery and equipment
-Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints drawings to determine work and safety procedures
-Building maintenance
-Duties as otherwise assigned

Qualifications
-Experience working as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting
-Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, install and assembly skills
-Ability to read blueprints
-Experience working with extruders an asset
-Willingness to learn and grow your career
-Safety conscious
