Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Assignment Information:
Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting Industrial Painters to join our client's expanding team in Saint John, NB. This role requires candidates with 3-5 years of painting experience, particularly in fabrication and manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scraping, grinding, and pressure washing surfaces.
• Preparing surfaces for new paint or coatings.
• Performing sandblasting when necessary.
• Applying paint and corrosion control products.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 3-5 years of painting experience.
• Proficiency with handheld power tools such as scrapers and grinders.
• Comfortable working at heights; certifications in fall arrest and aerial lift operation are advantageous.
• Experience in fabrication/manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to travel to PEI, NS, and the Maritimes as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Work Conditions:
Industrial painters will be working in various settings such as manufacturing facilities, construction sites, shipyards, etc. This will involve exposure to noise, chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures.
