Can-Tech Services is looking for a Process Technician for one of our reputable Manufacturing clients in the Vaughan area. Our client is a leading Canadian manufacturer of Patio Furniture and Storage Products. Their products are manufactured and distributed throughout Canada, the USA, and Europe, and sold throughout over 12,000 North American major retail outlets.Position: Process Technician.Position Type: Permanent/Full-Time.Shift: AfternoonsLocation: Vaughan, ONResponsibilities:Operate and monitor molds in presses, following established production processes.Execute scheduled start-up procedures promptly and efficiently.Ensure all processes run within specified parameters for optimal performance.Maintain a clean and organized machine and work area before commencing production.Notify shift supervisors once start-ups are completed and processes are running smoothly.Verify all water circuits before initiating the start-up process.Troubleshoot the molding process, making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and production efficiency.Address quality issues and collaborate with the quality department to identify root causes.Contribute ideas to enhance the efficiency of the molding department.Communicate any problems, needs, or important information to the shift supervisor.Assist the shift supervisor as needed.Train process technician trainees as required.The right candidate will have/be: Education: Post-Secondary education or equivalent.Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and understand work orders.A minimum of 3 years of experience setting injection molds and injection mold processing in a manufacturing environmentMust have excellent understanding of the injection molding machine functions.Must understand the fundamentals of the injection molding process.
