Financial Planning
Lead the annual budgeting process for BDS, working closely with department heads to develop detailed budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
Develop rolling forecasts to provide insights into future financial performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers of performance.
Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support decision-making by senior management.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide support in achieving their objectives.
Develop relationships with various stakeholders and partner with them to prepare budgets, forecasts and manage and track their performance against set goals.
Evaluate investment opportunities and cost saving initiatives with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance and drive accountability.
Responsible for the client’s business intelligence tools to set up various reports and dashboards. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to enhance decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
~5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
~ Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
~ Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
~ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
~ Vena Solution, Power BI or another financial database knowledge is an asset.
~ In the office 2 days (Hybrid)
