Responsibilities:The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the following :Provide Electrical engineering as assigned with ability to stamp engineering designs and specifications within the applicable jurisdiction;Handle Electrical calculations required for the refinery;Ensure technical accuracy, and soundness of the method applied to engineering calculations, compliance to regulatory requirements, as it applies to project deliverables and owner requirements;Coordinate its work with internal & external stakeholders to deliver an integrated engineering work package;Provide engineering mitigation strategies to any risks or issues;Ensure lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices are promoted and applied;Qualifications:10 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer;Ideally experience in the oil & gas industry, if not experience in the heavy industry sector;Canadian P. Eng.
