Job Description:This position is responsible for helping the customer succeed while achieving specific team and individual sales and profit goals set by the company. Individuals in this position will provide an exceptional level of business to business (B2B) sales consultation, account management, customer service, and innovative solutions that differentiate Sysco in the marketplace. This role is responsible for the account management and growth of independent sales with a territory size between $4-6 million in annual sales.Role Responsibilities:Articulate and demonstrate the Sysco value proposition to engage and onboard new customers to Sysco products, services, and promotions using consultative selling methodsResponsible for Strategic Account Planning, developing new business, growing account portfolio, and retaining customer accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within assigned territoryEvaluate customer business needs and analyze market trends to develop customer centric product and service solutionsBe informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services providedLeverage Sales technology and business resources to provide end to end sales consultative servicesCredit and Accounts Receivables managementUtilizes PMT & Deal Manager to support territory and market share growthOversight to pricing management and strategy for the territory Track activities and results, collaborate on opportunities, and champion the team selling process through use of Salesforce (Sysco’s CRM tool) Maybe required to work non-traditional hours, while also providing a level of individual autonomy to support and successfully meet customer needsPerform other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsExperience in sales or an equivalent in the food service industry preferred, but not requiredCompletion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience; CPSA designation is preferredStrong communication and customer service skills; ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teamsSolid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from dataProactive, self-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule to be successfulIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and eCommerce conceptsExcellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same timeFlexible work schedule, including Sundays and holidays.Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle may be required as there will be some local ad-hoc travelQualifications/Skills/Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in salesFluent in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferredCompletion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience; CPSA designation is preferred ability to cultivate relationships and grow salesfinancial and business acumen and ability to properly plan and execute business plansskills in the area of consultative selling, networking and negotiationsand restaurant operations acumen to manage sophisticated customersinterpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence a variety of key stakeholdersto express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost and expense ratiocommunication skills; ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teamsorganizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same timeto learn the use of proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growthto understand and manage compliance to contractsanalytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from dataself-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule to be successfulin Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)driver’s license in good standing with access to a vehicle is required
