Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an AI Engineer . As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of artificial intelligence systems for our smart home robotics. This involves creating AI algorithms that enable perception, decision-making, and interaction for robotic systems. You will work on core areas like computer vision, natural language processing, and control systems to allow home robots to understand and interact with the physical world. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to integrate AI with mechanical components, ensuring seamless operation and real-world reliability.

Essential Skills (AI Focused)

  • AI & Machine Learning Engineering (5+ years):
    Expertise in designing and developing machine learning models, especially for robotics and automation systems. Proficiency in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Computer Vision (5+ years):
    Experience with vision-based AI systems, enabling robots to perceive and navigate their environment using cameras, LIDAR, or depth sensors.
  • Robotics & Control Systems (1+ years):
    Expertise in integrating AI-driven control systems for robotic arms, actuators, and household automation devices.

Additional Skills

  • Sensor Integration:
    Experience integrating environmental sensors with AI models for real-time monitoring of conditions like temperature, humidity, and air quality.
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP) (5+ years):
    Proficiency in building language models and integrating conversational AI into smart home robots for interaction and control.
  • Actuator Control & Motion Planning:
    Knowledge of controlling actuators (e.G., robotic arms, smart home devices) with AI algorithms for precise movement.
  • AI-Driven HVAC Systems:
    Experience with AI-controlled HVAC systems for intelligent climate control in home automation.
  • AI Programming Languages:
    Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB for developing and deploying AI systems in robotic platforms.
  • Cloud & Edge AI:
    Knowledge of deploying AI models to cloud or edge computing devices for efficient processing in smart homes.

Education

  • Master’s Degree in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • PhD in AI or Robotics, or relevant certifications, are a plus.
