We invite applications for the position of full-time Meat Supervisor to join our team at our Orchard Food Store located in Edmonton, AB. Open availability is required.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Meat Manager in all aspects of the Meat Operations
  • Oversee daily operations in the meat department to maintain excellent customer service
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department
  • Ensure the meat department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy
  • Maintain customer standards by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns
  • Participate in the training and development of meat department team members
  • Perform general duties, as assigned including backup support for the Meat Manager

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Post-secondary education in related field (Meat Cutting & Merchandising)
  • You have Retail Meat Department experience
  • You have previous Retail Produce experience.
  • Retail Team Leadership experience would be an asset.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • You have strong time management and organizational skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
