CBI OT Services - Victoria
Full time position: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
If you’re an enthusiastic OT professional who is eager to make a difference and you’re passionate about offering a holistic approach to care, this is your chance to do what you do best. This valued Occupational Therapist will have an opportunity to practice within a large scope through collaboration and teamwork, responsible for evaluating and supporting the clients in a holistic manner to achieve optimal quality of life. Day to day activities vary from serving clients in the community, in clinic, networking and collaborating within the larger health care community and with the funder, completing reports, and solving problems/overcoming barriers to achieving the Care Goals.
We are seeking a self-starter that is able and excited to work within urban and rural areas and has a proven ability to deliver excellence in outcomes and relationship building. Provide impartial home, safety/attendant care assessments, ergonomic assessments, driving assessments, adaptive equipment assessments, client education, and clinic-based assessment/treatment
Coordinate the care with the client, family, CBI Care Team, funder and involved health care providers
Network with internal and external stakeholders to promote new and existing programs
Record workload measurement data
Provide professional services to other CBI facilities or departments, as required
You are a graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy
You are a registered member in good standing with a college of Occupational Therapy
Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle with a willingness to travel to rural site
