Job Description - Process Plant Supervisor (DET00108)

The Process Plant Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Process Plant Operations shift team and to ensure safe and efficient plant performance to meet production objectives at the Detour Lake Mine. Planning crew activities in accordance with production, maintenance schedules and training requirements by allocating resources as required;
Providing direction and technical input to the Process Plant shift processing team;
Providing guidance in the development of process control and operation philosophy;
Working with the team and cross shifts to achieve daily, monthly and yearly plant KPIs;
Maintaining a high level of safety and environmental awareness, ensuring crew members comply with all relevant company policies and procedures.
A good working knowledge and skillset with the use of Microsoft platform software;
Experience with HMIs, PLC’s and PI software;
Excellent communications, both verbal and written (English), and conflict resolution skills;
Demonstrated leadership skills to provide motivation and foster team building;
Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and experience with the use of process control systems;
Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
