Proudly recognized for our diversity, inclusion, and exceptional employee experience, we offer:An Award-winning workplace: Best Workplace for Women, Best for Inclusion-diversity and much moreCareer advancement opportunities, Professional education allowance and mentorship programsFlexible schedules for work-life balance including paid time offCompetitive pay, Sign-on bonuses, licensing fee coverage and relocation assistance availableComprehensive health and dental benefits, including mental health supportAnnual bonus, pension matching, Stock purchase plan and disability insuranceBest in class Store employee discountsStore Location: 2241 Louie Drive Kelowna, BC V4T 3K3Store Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 9PM; Saturday, 9AM - 6PM; Sunday, 10AM - 6PMWhat's your roleSupporting the pharmacists with the execution of Rexall patient-focused services such as MedsChecks™ (If applicable), pharmaceutical opinions, immunizations, smoking cessation, etc.Abide by approved prescriptions, duties and responsibilities per relevant College of PharmacistsData entry and billing of prescriptions through Nexxsys, ensuring all required documentation is adequate and appropriate including (but not limited to) dosage and dosing intervals, third party billing restrictions, copayment management, coordination of benefitsPrescription preparation including regular prescriptions, compliance packaging, and simple compoundingMonitoring of site refrigeration temperatures and reporting any variances directly to the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on-dutyEffectively communicate with both external and internal contacts, in addition to developing and maintaining professional relationships with local health care professionals, suppliers, allied health businesses, and private insurance payersQualifications to succeedProvincial Pharmacy Technician Registration (If applicable)Experience in the industry, including third party billing issuesSelf-starting and independent, as well as strong motivation to succeedExcellent communication skills both written and verbalDiscretion in handling confidential mattersWillingness to work weeknights and weekendsJoin Rexall TodayIf you're passionate about making a difference in healthcare, apply now to become a Pharmacist at Rexall.
